Welcome to Grand Erie eLearning!

What is eLearning?
Ontario credits which are delivered over the internet by Grand Erie secondary teachers are called eLearning courses.

In eLearning students will not be face to face with their teacher.  They may have access to a computer within their home school so that they can work on their course during the regular school day.  If this is not the case, then the student must have access to a computer and the internet at home. Please check the technical requirements for eLearning courses by selecting the link at the top of this page.

It is important that asynchronous eLearning students set aside at least 80 minutes each day to work on their course for them to be successful.

More information about timetables and eLearning are available under the tabs at the top of the page.

To know if eLearning is right for your Take the online test.

What does an eLearning course look like?

If you would like to look at some of the course components of eLearning courses go to the Ontario Educational Resource Bank (http://resources.elearningontario.ca/). Any teacher can provide you with the student login and password. Type in the course code of the course you would like to look at in the search area.  All of the units for the course will appear and will be similar to what you will see in your eLearning course.

Registration for 2015-2016 eLearning courses will be available soon:

To register for an elearning course please see your guidance counselor.

Secondary students must complete the Change in Student's Program form and submit it to the Student Services Department at your school.

If you have problems please contact Shayne Mann, eLearning principal, shayne.mann@granderie.ca.
